Originally a flax mill, and then the studio and home of the acclaimed artist Frank Eggington, The Mill now houses a multi-award winning restaurant, run by the grand-daughter of the artist.
The Mill serves high quality cuisine made from local fresh ingredients and specialising in shellfish and seafood. From the canapés served in the conservatory, through the two superb courses that constitute dinner, and back to the petits fours and coffee in the conservatory, the quality of the food and the standard of presentation is superb!!
The restaurant is open for evening meals during the summer season, and operates a fixed price menu. The Mill has become a very popular place to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Saturdays, it’s not raining, etc., in fact any occasion that you can think of. It’s worth it!
The Mill has a wine licence and offers wine, port, sherry and bottled beers.
