Dunfanaghy
The community of Dunfanaghy are great supporters of live music, and this is reflected in the number of great music festivals which are organised in the village throughout the year.
In fact you could say from June the end of June to early Septemeber, Dunfanaghy Summer Festival runs, with live music every night of the week in all venues, and closing with the Jazz and Blues Festival. During the whole summer you will find quality live music in all the pubs and hotel EVERY night of the week. A highlight is the August Fair festival which culminates in the long established August Fair Day on the August bank holiday.
If you get the opportunity to visit Dunfanaghy during any of the festivals you will love the vibrant, bustling atmosphere everywhere in the village. If you are visiting from afar, and would like to stay in and around the village during one of the festivals, make sure that you book accommodation well in advance.
